Drawing inspiration from the classic banker’s lamp, British designer John Tree combines archetypal references with his colourful, contemporary sensibility to create the Apex Wall Lamp.

Its folded steel shade forms a gabled roof-shaped profile, from which the piece takes its name. The shade, with its high-gloss finish, is attached to a wall bracket that can be mounted either horizontally or vertically. Depending on the chosen orientation, the beam of light can be directed upwards, downwards or to the sides, making it ideal for a variety of spaces and uses: from accent lighting on a bookshelf to a reading light by the bed or ambient lighting on a wall.
