Designed by Achille Castiglioni in 1972 for FLOS, Lampadina is a small table lamp with an industrial aesthetic whose name reflects the playful simplicity of its design: “lampadina” means “light bulb” in Italian.

Its iconic shape has made it a classic of contemporary design.

The design of Lampadina consists of a large blown glass bulb, partially sandblasted to prevent glare, and a reel-shaped base that, in addition to supporting the lamp, allows the excess cable to be collected and stored.

The on/off switch is located on the lamp holder itself, reinforcing the feeling of a simple and straightforward object. It is available in several colors, making it easy to integrate into different spaces and styles.
