PITON

Piton designed by Tom Chung for Muuto is a contemporary version of the classic lantern.

The functionality of Piton, inspired by the tools used in mountaineering, makes this portable lamp easily transported as well as being easily suspended.

The Piton lampshade is made of injection-molded plastic, which ensures durability as well as providing warm ambient light, while its aluminum base gives the whole a sophisticated look.

Piton Portable is rechargeable, and its battery lasts for approximately 13,5 hours when used at 50% intensity and 6 hours when use at 100%.

At the base of the lamp we will find a small  regulator that will allow us to adjust the intensity to 50% and 100%.

Piton Portable includes a rechargeable, replaceable Li-lon 18650 2600mAh 3.6V battery, and a 3.2W LED bulb with an approximate duration of 25000 hours.

Piton Portable can be used outdoors, and it is water resistant.
